Granite Church

An online presence for a newly restored historic building.

Project Overview

Through careful historic preservation, The Granite Church has been reimagined as a vibrant cultural hub and a space where Georgetown’s past shapes its future.

BCS Interactive invited me to help bring this vision online. I partnered with their team to map out the site architecture. From there, I wireframed the experience and designed a website to welcome the community back to The Granite Church.
The goal was more than just promotion. It was about strengthening connections, celebrating local artistry, and fueling new opportunities for economic growth.
The finished site invites visitors to explore upcoming events, step inside the space, and join in something truly meaningful.

Sitemap

For this brand new site, I teamed up with the project manager to dive into the client’s content and uncover its best storytelling flow. We crafted a sitemap that not only made navigation effortless but also guided users toward meaningful interactions—keeping engagement at the heart of every decision.

Wireframes

With the sitemap approved, I translated the structure into wireframes, mapping out the user journey and page layouts. This step clarified functionality, refined content placement, and set a strong foundation for the visual design.

Design

With the client’s beautiful photography as the centerpiece, I translated the wireframes into a fully realized visual design. Guided by the brand’s style guide, I crafted UI elements that highlighted the imagery while maintaining clarity and usability. The result is a photography-forward site with a warm, inviting tone that draws users in at every scroll.
